Patriarchal Parishes in the USA

PATRIARISH PARISHES - a canonical division of the Russian Orthodox Church, uniting the parishes and monasteries of the Russian Orthodox Church in the United States of America and Mexico. It was formed in 1970 simultaneously with the granting of autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in America. Ruled by the vicar bishop of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

The ecclesiastical and administrative center of the Russian Orthodox Church in the United States is St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York, built under the leadership of Hieromartyr Alexander Hotovitsky and consecrated in 1902 by St. Tikhon (Belavin). 

The Patriarchal parishes in the United States include 33 churches and 1 monastery in honor of the Great Martyr, Demetrius of Thessaloniki.

— Deanery of the Central States
— Deanery of the Western States (which also includes the Church of the Protection of the Mother of God in Mexico)
