At the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the United Staes of America; His Excellency Anatoly Ivanovich Antonov, the rector St Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral New York Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, and the acting Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States Abbot Nikodim (Balyasnikov), took part in a round table and working discussions, held at the Russian Embassy in Washington, DC.

On Sunday January 14th., 2024 after the main Sunday Liturgy, a Christmas Yolka, children’s Christmas party was held in the cathedral refectory.

Christmas youth meeting
On Tuesday January 9, 2024 the weekly meeting of the youth organization of St Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral met in the refectory. This weeks meeting began with a prayer service, and was followed by a festive evening dedicated to the Nativity of Christ.
