On December 7, 2024, on the eve of the 24th week after Pentecost, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, visited the Kazan Metochion skete in Spokane, Washington, where a female monastic community is cared for.
Co-served by the rector of the monastery, Hieromonk Tikhon (Pashkov), the archpastor celebrated the all-night vigil, after which he spoke with the inhabitants of the skete.
The bishop is accompanied on his trip by his personal secretary Nikolai Trubnikov.
