Solemn services for Theophany were celebrated at St Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral New York, on January 18th and 19th 2024. On the morning eve of Theophany the cathedral rector, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov officiated at Royal Hours and the Liturgy of St. Basil the Great, after which, according to the typicon the Great Blessing of Water. On the evening of the same day, the festal all-night vigil was celebrated, again by the cathedral rector, and concelebrated by cathedral clergy the Abbot Nikodim (Balyasnikov) and Hieromonk John (Scheffler).
On the morning of the Great Feast of Theophany, Divine Liturgy was served by the cathedral rector Arcpriest Igor Vyzhanov and concelebrating with him; Hieromonk John (Scheffler). The sacrament of confession was offered by cathedral clerics the Abbot Nikodim (Balyasnikov) and Priest Rodion Shamazov. Concelebrating cathedral deacons were: Protodeacon Igor Panachev, Protodeacon Sergius Kerko, and Deacon John Peters.
Following Divine Liturgy the Great Blessing of Water for Theophany was officiated.
