On June 16, 2024, Archpriest Igor Vyzhhanov, the rector of the St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York, delivered a lecture on inter-Christian relations at the Novo-Diveevo Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.

The lecture took place as part of the spiritual talks for parishioners, held weekly at the monastery after the Sunday Divine Liturgy. The talks are organized by the monastery's cleric, Priest Artemiy Sys.

During the lecture, Archpriest Igor Vyzhhanov shared his experiences working in the field of relations with non-Orthodox Christian denominations as an employee of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate from 1999 to 2010, a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church in Italy, and later a lecturer at the Moscow Theological Academy just before his current assignment in the USA.

Father Igor paid special attention to a detailed analysis of the document "Basic Principles of the Russian Orthodox Church's Attitude to Non-Orthodoxy," adopted at the Jubilee Bishops' Council in 2000.

The lecture was attended by the abbess of Novo-Diveevo Monastery, Mother Makaria, along with the sisters of the monastery.
