From August 12-16, 2024, St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York once again held a summer camp for students of the parish Sunday School, as it had in July. This time, the camp was dedicated to painting and icon painting.

Each day of the camp participants began with a joint prayer in the church. Then the Sunday school teacher, professional artist Liliya Popova, conducted classes with the children. One of the results of the lessons was the painting of images of their heavenly patrons by the young students. To get acquainted with the masterpieces of world painting, the children visited the Metropolitan Museum.

In the afternoon of each day, camp participants, like last time, accompanied by parent volunteers, went to the sea beach in the Brooklyn area.
