On September 8, 2024, at St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York, after the Sunday Divine Liturgy, a “Prayer Service for the Beginning of the Teaching of the Youths” was held.
The prayer before the school year, which begins in American schools on September 6, was performed by the cathedral's rector, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov. The children of the church's parishioners prayed at the service.
