On February 14-15, 2025, services for the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord were held at St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York.
On the evening of February 14, the rector of the cathedral, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, served a festive all-night vigil. On the morning of February 15, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated. The rector was assisted by Protodeacon Igor Panachev and Deacon John Peters.
At the end of the service, the traditional blessing of candles for the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord took place.
The sacrament of confession was performed by the cathedral cleric, Hieromonk John (Scheffler).
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Archpriest I. Vyzhanov congratulated Protodeacon Igor Panachev on his birthday and proclaimed many years to him.
