On May 9, 2025, clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church serving in New York took part in a reception to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, held at the Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations.
At the invitation of the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN V. A. Nebenzya, the reception was attended by the rector of the St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, Vice-Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, rector of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Little Falls, New Jersey, Priest Mark Rashkov, and member of the Diocesan Council of the Eastern American and New York Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, rector of the Church of the Intercession in Glen Cove, New York, Archpriest Alexander Antchutin.
