From June 30 to July 4, 2025, the St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York hosted the first session of its traditional Summer Sunday School. Twenty-five children of various ages took part, and each day was filled with joy, good deeds, games, and prayer.

Every morning began with communal prayer and a lesson on God’s Law, where the children studied the Days of Creation and learned to see God’s care for each of us in nature and in people.

The program also included treasure hunts, creative workshops, museum and zoo trips, beach outings, games with parents, baking pies, and heartfelt conversations about kindness and friendship.

he organizers thank all the parents and volunteers who made this week possible and joyfully invite everyone to the second session, which will take place from August 25 to 29.
