On the afternoon of July 13, 2025, the St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York hosted a gathering of its traditional Literary and Film Club in the parish hall.

The club meets once a month, alternating between discussions of literary works and screenings of films followed by conversation.

This time, attendees watched the renowned film "Stalker" by the great Soviet filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky and discussed the spiritual and moral questions it raises.

The meeting was chaired by the cathedral's rector, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov.
