On December 8, 2025, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, arrived in Seattle. As part of his archpastoral visit to North America, his itinerary includes visiting a number of parishes in the United States and Canada, meeting with hierarchs and clergy of other jurisdictions, and concluding with a session of the Bishop’s Council.
The bishop is accompanied on his journey by his personal secretary and subdeacon, Nikolai Trubnikov.
