On Tuesday January 9, 2024 the weekly meeting of the youth organization of St Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral met in the refectory. This weeks meeting began with a prayer service, and was followed by a festive evening dedicated to the Nativity of Christ.

At the invitation of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of the Russian Church Abroad, the rector of St Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral New York, attended the Metropolitan’s Christmas reception at the Metropolitan’s  residence on January 8th.

On January 6-7, 2024, the feast of the Nativity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, solemn and festal services, as well as holiday events were held at St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York.

Venerable Fathers, dear brothers, and sisters! On this holy night, I wholeheartedly greet and congratulate you all on the great and world-saving feast of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ!

On December 27th 2023 The Very Reverend Igor Vyzhanov led a group of parishioners from St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral (NYC) to a concert at Carnegie Hall.

At the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the United States of America; Anatoly Ivanovich Antonov, the Rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov and Mrs Alla Vyzhanova on December 19, 2023 attended a concert offered by the pianist Sergei Kosenko “Pytor Tchaikovsky; On the Eve of Christmas.”

The patronal feast of Saint Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral was celebrated on December 19th 2023, on the day of remembrance of Saint Nicholas the Archbishop of Myra and Lycia the Wonderworker.
