On April 4, 2025, on the eve of Saturday of the 5th week of Great Lent - the feast of the Praise of the Mother of God (Saturday of the Akathist), the temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, celebrated matins with the reading of the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos in St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City.
His Grace was assisted by the rector of the cathedral, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, and the cathedral clergy.
