From July 1-7, 2024, a summer camp for students of the parish Sunday School was held at St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York. During the week, parents who wanted their children to take part in the camp activities brought them to the cathedral in the morning and picked them up in the evening. Many parents helped run the camp as volunteers. Every day the children were provided with nutritious meals and an exciting program.

In the morning they prayed during the services held in the cathedral, after which they studied the Law of God and participated in a rehearsal for a musical performance. This was followed by a walk with outdoor games in Central Park. The educational part of the camp program included excursions to the Catholic Cathedral of St. Patrick, which is one of the landmarks of New York, and to the famous Metropolitan Museum. In the afternoon, children, accompanied by volunteer parents, went to the sea beach in Brooklyn.

On Saturday, July 6, after the Divine Liturgy in the refectory hall of the cathedral, the camp participants presented to the parishioners a performance based on “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” by A. S. Pushkin, dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great poet. There was also a small concert of songs dedicated to the family, performed on the eve of the July 8 commemoration of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia, who have long been revered in Rus' as patrons of family values.

On the walls of the corridors of the cathedral premises there was an exhibition of photographs and drawings about the unforgettable days of the summer camp.
